PAST LITTERS
Cricket and Cowboy's Litter 4-26-09
Chloe now lives in Warren, MI Corona's new home is Onario, Canada
with Paulette with Ben & Melina
Jolina and Guero are staying here @ Cove Creek. You can see their pics and pedigree
on Jolina's Page and Guero's Page.
Reina and Tico's litter came 5 day early on 3-26-09. My sweet girl passed away soon after giving birth
from a reaction to the anesthesia used during her c-section. She had 5 puppies, 1 was stillborn
which caused the premature birth and c-section. The boys were small, but healthy. Reina's two
girls were only 1.8oz @ birth, and nothing short of a miracle that they survived. However, at 8.5
wks old, her tiny black/white female died from a liver abnormality. At 11.5 wks, her tiny sister
passed away from what appeared to be the same problem. Their tiny bodies just weren't strong
enough to survive. It was heartbreaking but now Reina has her two beautiful baby girls with her
and can be the mommy she was meant to be. Rest in peace my sweet Reina, you and your tiny
babies will be in my heart forever.
Pedro has gone to his forever home with Jimmy and Rebecca in Lavergne,
You can see Reina and Tico's black/white male, Diamante on Mante's Page. He
will be staying here at Cove Creek as a hopeful breeder.

Senor Papito Chorisco de Cove Creek
Papi came to Cove Creek as a hopeful future breeder. Unfortunately, he developed
an overbite which prevented him from being bred. He's such a perfect little guy,
happy, and very outgoing all the time. He has never met a stranger.
I'm going to miss him terribly. He's found his "furever" home with the Smiths in
Spring Hill, TN. They have Maddie, Carnalita's tiny brindle girl born 9-28-08.
They have made such a great "adoptive" family for little Maddie, I am so happy
they will be making Papi a part of it. Maddie is 7 mos old now and only weighs
only 1 3/4#. Many thanks to this special family!

“My Answered Prayer”
I was sitting at home with both of my Moms
When suddenly there was a knock at the door.
As my human Mom got up to answer it
I began to bounce all over the floor.
This lady came in and she wore a big smile
She played with us all and she stayed for awhile.
She talked to my Mom and she gave kisses to me,
I thought to myself, “ Oh this couldn’t be!”
I heard her saying to both of my Moms
That I just do fit inside of her palms.
But before I knew it, she went away,
She said she’d be back in a few days.
Then, On Friday night,
Another knock at the door,
This lady came in, just as she did before.
But this time was different,
She was with a man and a cute little boy,
My heart was fluttering fast and it was filled with Joy.
Because I got a new home and a family to love,
My prayers have been answered from up above!

Gizmo now lives with Jessica & Family in Chapel Hill,TN
I wanted to share the Christmas Letter I received from "Gizmo" this year:
Mama Pam, Merry Christmas!
I want to let you know that my new home is just PAWFECT! The people whom I've adopted are just BIG SUCKERS! I've got them wrapped around my little paws. My new Daddy was a little upset at first, but that lasted about, ummmmm..........not long! My new CHI brothers are so cool, they play with me all the time, no matter if they are tired or not. My 2 legged brothers love to play with me also, they think I'm adorable. When Mom carries me to the schools and I see m brothers, the girls just run up and love on me and give me kisses, Moma says I'm a "CHIC MAGNET", whatever that means. By the way..... I hope Mom is doing ok, she doesn't miss me too bad. I miss all my buddies at Cove Creek, especially my Moms. Anyways, I just wanted ya'll to know that I'm thinking of you this tme of year and I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
With all my love,GIZMO
(Special thanks to Jessica for taking the time for this very special Christmas Message)
Maddie only weighed 12 oz when she left @ 9 wks. Her new
home is with Brittany in Spring Hill, TN. As you can see from pics she sent
to me, this little girl is already a "Princess".

Popi Chulo now lives with Dustin in White House, TN Popi Chulo, 5 mos
This little boy was born with an umbilical hernia. We waited until he reached 1#
@ 8 wks old to have it corrected, by that time it had greatly increased in size.
Unfortunately, his little heart couldn't take the trauma of the surgery,
and other threatening complications were discovered during surgery that may
have caused other problems for him later in life. We only had him for a
short time, but we are thankful God gave him to us to love. We
dedicate this poem to him, we called him "Julio".
"Lend Me A Pup"
I will lend to you for awhile a puppy, God said, For you to love him while he lives
and to mourn for him when he is gone. Maybe for 12 or 14 years or maybe for 2 or 3. But will you, till I call him back take care of him for me? He’ll bring his charms to gladden you and (should his stay be brief) you’ll always have his memories as solace for your grief. I cannot promise that he will stay since all from Earth return, But there are lessons taught below I want this pup to learn. I’ve looked the whole world over in seach of teachers true And from the fold that crowd life’s land I have chosen you. Now will you give him all your love Nor think the labor vain, nor hate me when I come to take my pup back again? I fancied that I heard them say, “Dear Lord, They Will Be Done,” For all the joys this pup will bring the risk of grief you’ll run. Will you shelter him with tenderness, Will you love him while you may? And for the happiness you’ll know forever grateful stay. But should I call him back much sooner than you’ve planned, please brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand. If, by your love, you’ve managed my wishes to achieve, In memory of him that you’ve loved, cherish every moment with your faithful bundle, and know he loved you too.
